WERKRAUM design architecture is a Tbilisi-based studio founded in 2013 by Mariam Supatashvili and Kakha Kakhishvili. We work across architecture and interior design, taking on projects of varying scale and typology: from private residences and hospitality to commercial and mixed-use buildings, public architecture and urban planning.
Each project is approached through a careful reading of its context, function, and material conditions. We collaborate closely with our clients, listening to their needs while maintaining a clear architectural vision — one that shapes every decision from concept through construction. Our aim is not just to meet a brief, but to build spaces with their own distinct character and enduring value.
This discipline holds across all scales and contexts: a timber-clad residence on a steep hillside, a concrete hospitality building in the mountains, a multi-block residential development in the city center. Regardless of scale, our work is grounded in material honesty. Concrete, timber, brick and glass are used for their inherent qualities, not as surface or ornament.
For project inquiries, collaborations and press, write to the studio or call us during working hours 10:00 – 19:00.
